| Drank after decanting for 4 hours, aromas of black fruit and port. Full bodied with wonderful complex flavours of dark fruits, tannins quite apparent but not overwhelming, subtle flavour of cloves and a good crack of black pepper. Finish was soft and long, an extremely moreish wine for the winter months. [+] |

Located in the Western Bekaa, Château Kefraya is Lebanon’s second biggest winery. Its most famous wine is the Comte de M, which came to international prominence after American wine critic Robert Parker awarded it 91/100, a rating for “an outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character.” The restaurant and tasting room are very popular, so it is advised to book.
