I normally stay away from this label, somehow over-oaked, heavy, overbearing. But I love the 2008 vintage. It has the acidity that makes it "light" and sassy. The red fruit is crisp, no heat from the 14+% alcohol. It goes extremely well with Mezze (that's to say, like arak, it can take a beating: garlic, lemon, coriander etc.). The best Q/P ratio offered in the lebanese market in 2011 (about 7$). Rate: 89
